The clash between Napoli and Juventus ended in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday.
Juventus broke the deadlock early in the match through Sami Khedira in the seventh minute. Khedira dribbled his way through the defense before combining with Miralem Pjanic to get the ball back in the box and score to make it 1-0.
However, Napoli responded and dominated possession. Napoli finally converted a chance in the second half after missing multiple opportunities. Captain Marek Hamsik scored his 111th career goal with the club on an assist from Dries Mertens. Hamsik found himself alone in the box similar to Khedira and slotted it past Gianluigi Buffon.
The Partenopei kept pushing and controlling the match, but could not score a second. Here are five takeaways from Napoli in the match against Juventus.
