Lazio continue to struggle as they salvage a point in Torino.
Once again Lazio started off slow in a league match, going down after just twelve minutes. It was nearly a two goal deficit just ten minutes later but Ciro Immobile missed his penalty attempt.
In the second half we saw a more aggressive Lazio. The capital club created numerous chances but finally broke through when substitute Balde Keita was taken down in the box by Torino defender Cristian Molinaro. Captain Lucas Biglia stepped up to the spot and scored the equalizer.
Balde Keita spoke to Sky following the match and provided his account of the game.
“I went at the man, then made a move and he followed me. He touched me, the penalty was there, and even their goalie admitted it. There might have been another one against Djordjevic.
We are struggling because often times we get on the field soft and with little concentration. In the second half we played our game and created chances, if we had started like that there might have been a different outcome. Thursday we will try to play our game, it is a great opportunity for us and we must concentrate and be aware of our strength.”
