AC Milan are looking at Sampdoria’s Shkodran Mustafi, the 21 year old defender.
The German international made it to the World Cup due to an injury to Marco Reus, and has made two appearances thus far in the two group stage games.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio the Sampdoria central defender may become a “hot name” this summer. The Rossoneri are strongly interested in acquiring his services, however there is interest from the other side of the border.
Three German clubs, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke 04 are the main competition that AC Milan will have to fend off in order to gain his signature.
The German defender had a breakthrough season at Sampdoria, had partaken in 32 official matches this season and scored one goal to his name.
