Former AC Milan and Fiorentina star Alberto Gilardino is set to join up with Massimo Oddo’s Delfini as they look for reinforcement.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, 34-year old striker Alberto Gilardino is interested in joining Pescara this month from Empoli.
The journeyman forward has struggled with the Azzurri this season, and as a result is keen to move on. Gilardino will cancel his contract with Empoli in order to move to Pescara who sit in the cellar of the league table.
In fourteen appearances, the former Viola bomber has failed to register a single goal. By joining Massimo Oddo’s Delfini for the remainder of the season, he hopes to have better luck up front.
