The winger’s agent has indicated there is interest in Italy to bring Alessio Cerci back to Serie A during this months’ mercato.
Alessio Cerci’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has indicated his client may return to Italy this month.
The former Torino star has been with Atletico Madrid since his return from a poor loan spell with AC Milan. Back in Spain, he continues to see little to no action on the pitch.
Pastorello, in an interview with ‘Gr Parlamento,’ revealed that Cerci is “very motivated,” saying:
“Alessio has overcome the physical problems that plagued him at Milan and Genoa. He is ready for his next club, who will get the deal of a century.”
“Alessio always liked Lazio, and it would be a positive union with Inzaghi’s game system. It could be a possibility.”
Cerci’s contract with Atletico expires in 2018, currently earning 1.3 million euros a year. Lazio will make their mind up on whether they pick Cerci or Ajax star Anwar El Ghazi.
