The 22 year old Argentine midfielder has been subject to recent transfer interest from English clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham.
The AS Roma midfielder solidified himself as a talented play-maker last season on loan with Empoli but has failed to live up to last seasons level of play with his parent club.
Seeing that he is not a regular in Luciano Spalletti’s staring eleven, other clubs have taken note on possibly swooping in to purchase the midfielder this January.
With suspected interest from Juventus who reportedly are interested in purchasing Paredes in the summer, the Lupi may look to sell him abroad to big money clubs from the Premier League and cash in before the end of the January window. According to calciomercato.com, the asking price is around 30 million euro for the young play-maker.
In 22 appearances for the club this season, Paredes has scored twice in all competitions. It will be interesting to see if Roma sell him this transfer window, or prefer to hold off until the season is over.
