Atalanta, Colantuono: “We Must Try Our Best Against Juventus”

Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono spoke to media ahead of the match against visiting Juventus on Sunday, at the Azzurri d’Italia.

“We are evaluating the conditions of the players that we have available: Bonaventura just returned to practice, while Scaloni never took a part in practice this week. Canini is teetering, and is still bothered by his injury. I called up 24 players but some of them are not fully fit, let’s see”.

Colantuono then turned to his adversary: “Juventus has a winning mentality, there’s little else to say.  In their glorious history they have always won, but what’s most stupefying is how they improve year after year: they are the only team that can lose this scudetto”.

So, what will Colantuono do to stop Juventus? “We will try to prep the match as best we can – the odds are heavily in favour of the defending champions, but we must try and give our best”, reports

Atalanta currently sits in 14th spot with 5 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses.
