The Colombian center forward has refused a three year contract from Beijing Guoan who were prepared to offer 10 million a season for the AC Milan hitman.
After a shaky first half of the season with the rossoneri, there have been many rumours surrounding Bacca that have linked him to clubs such as Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, and West Ham. The latest club to make an approach for Milan’s leading goal scorer from last season is Beijing Guoan who have prepared a large financial commitment to bring him to Asia. However, Gazzetta Dello Sport have reported that Bacca has refused a move to the Chinese Super League as he desires to remain in Europe even if his future is not with the rossoneri.
Bacca was off to a rapid start in the early months of the seasons but has since been plagued by injuries and has been replaced up front due to the sudden emergence of Gianluca Lapadula. It will be interesting to see if Bacca remains with the club past January.
