Pol Lirola is turning heads during his loan spell at Serie A side Sassuolo.
He’s played the majority of matches for the Neroverdi and is gaining European experience as well. At 19-year-old, Lirola is becoming one of the hottest right-backs in football and is attracting interest from around the continent.
With Lichtsteiner leaving within the next 7 months, and Dani Alves a one or two season player at most, Pol Lirola could definitely have a future at Juventus.
But according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona and Manchester City have been scouting the Spain youth international.
Lirola comes from Espanyol’s youth academy, who are in the city of Barcelona and fierce local rivals of the famous Blaugrana.
At the moment, he’s considered one of the most up and coming players in Spanish football, and a call to the senior Spanish side doesn’t seem too far away.
