If Torino star Andrea Belotti is to leave the club, he would only depart for Premier League football in England.
According to Calciomercato.com, Andrea Belotti will only depart Torino to join one of Arsenal or Manchester United in England.
Despite signing a new deal with a €100m release clause last month, Belotti seems uncertain on his future claiming:
“My future is uncertain, yes, but whether we qualify for the Europa League will have an impact on me staying here.”
Furthermore, Granata president Urbano Cairo has confirmed they will accept nothing less than the stated release clause, which he reiterated below:
“We won’t take any offer beneath the €100m mark under any consideration. I don’t think anybody will make that offer.”
The club is known for selling its best assets once their transfer value soars. If Torino do receive an offer in the region of €100m, than it would be difficult to reject given the size of the fee.
Some of the clubs who could afford his buyout clause are Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United and Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal who both seem extremely interested in the Azzurri bomber.
Although Belotti was born a Milan supporter and keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is a close friend, a move within Italy is unlikely due to many clubs lacking the funds to complete the transfer.
