Rodrigo Bentancur is displaying superlative skill at Boca Juniors. Juventus has both hands on one of Uruguay’s best midfielders of his generation: club officials have reached an agreement according to Argentine media.
Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur’s future is black and white. After much discussion, Juventus and Boca Juniors seem to have been putting the final touches on an agreement that will bring the 19 year old central midfielder to Juventus in July 2017.

“The devil’s in the details”: Juventus acquired their first option in the Carlos Tevez deal, which valued at €1 million a “first pick” option on the player, which will expire at the end of 2016.
As at January 1, 2017 the deal as currently structured states that by 24 April 2017, the bianconeri can purchase Bentancur outright from the Buenos Aires club for €7.5 million plus another €1.93 million.
Shockingly, the deal states that the Turin club will give Boca 50% of an eventual sale of Bentancour to another club or entity.
On top of the €9.43 million transfer fee, Juventus would add another €2 million should the player not be sold within three seasons, €500.000 after ten caps at Juventus, €500.000 after scoring 10 goals, and €500.000 should Juventus win or qualify for the Champions League, for a total of approximately €14 million or more, should Betancour not remain at Juventus for a long time.
Details of the deal will be confirmed once the deal is finalized and made public.
