Bologna are set to confirm the deal to bring winger Alessio Cerci over on loan for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.
Alessio Cerci will return to playing football in Italy as GazzaMercato reports that Bologna will take him on loan for the remainder of the season.
Cerci, who struggled during his loan stint with AC Milan, was loaned out to Genoa last January where he performed fairly well, scoring 4 goals in 11 matches. No longer wanted around Madrid with Atleti, the Italian winger will return to the peninsula for the final six-months of the season.
Bologna are obligated to exercise the option on Cerci outright from Atletico Madrid, so Roberto Donadoni is hoping to get the best of the former Torino star.
