Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura spoke to the media following his side’s victory over Cesena and his game winning goal.
The 25 year old has been one of the better players on the season for the rossoneri and continued his good form today with a first half goal. Bonaventura’s goal would be enough to secure the three points for his side. However, Milan forward Giampaolo Pazzini would add an insurance goal from the spot late in the game.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, the former Atalanta man said,:
“There were many positives to take from this game. In the first half we were in constant movement and we were moving away from their pressing. However, we must be able to do this for ninety minutes. We must still improve. Now we are a bit calmer and can fight for the higher positions in the table with the others. I enjoy playing as a trequartista as I am able to find space for myself.”
Bonaventura has made 22 appearances for Milan this season and has scored 4 goals and got 3 assists.
