Right-back Bruno Peres may see his future away from Torino.
24-year-old Brazilian Peres raised eyebrows all over Serie A with his 78-meter dribble and clinical finish to bring Torino temporarily level with Juventus in the Derby Della Mole in November, and now it appears he is attracting the attention of other clubs. In particular Roma are now linked with him, searching for reinforcements on the right wing. Respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Peres’ agent arrived in Italy on Thursday for talks with Roma’s directors, however Torino’s president Cairo has emphatically stated that Peres is not for sale – at least not during the January transfer window. Roma will not be deterred – if a transfer is impossible this month, they intend to reopen talks in June.
