AS Roma fullback Bruno Peres spoke to Sky Sports following his sides frustrating 0-0 draw at Empoli this afternoon.
The 26-year old discussed his sides performance and spoke about winning for injured teammate Alessandro Florenzi.
Peres gives his thoughts on his sides performance:
“We played a great game, they were lucky not to concede a goal because the opportunities for us were good. Skorupski was very good, we have done very well and I think this is the right way to play.“
Peres on his injured teammate:
“Florenzi? We are sad because he is a wonderful person, now we have to always win for him. I must play more now and pick up the pace as soon as possible.”
With the injury to Florenzi that will keep him out for 5-6 months, expect to see plenty more of the Brazilian in the future. Roma sit in second place, four points behind league leaders Juventus and will take on Bologna next Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico.
