Jose Callejon speaks positively on his time in Italy.
Currently on international duty with the Spanish National Team, Jose Callejon took the time to speak with Spanish broadcaster Radio Onda Cero, ahead of a possible first cap for the la Roja in the World Cup Qualifier against Macedonia and the friendly against England.
“I am very happy for my professional and personal time, I hope to continue like this. Italian football has changed me a lot, it’s very tactical, has taught me so much on defence. I come to the National team with all the enthusiasm in the world and I thank the Lord for it: I hope to continue like this”.
It seems a day cannot pass without a Napoli player being asked a question on his thoughts over a certain summer transfer. When asked about his thoughts on Gonzalo Higuain’s move from Napoli to Juventus (which brought uproar amongst his club’s fans), the 29 year old had this to say;
“Before Higuain went away I had a good relationship with him. Here in Naples the people are very warm and loves honest players….The fans were not able to accept it. The people of Naples are linked to the honest players and those noble to the shirt”.
