Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta has spoken about a few hot topics concerning the bianconeri in an interview with Gr Parlamento.
About Allegri to Chelsea and a potential substitute. “When everything flows according to perfection, the worth of a manager increases. However, Juve is one of the world’s top clubs, a club that represents a target for a manager. It’s not easy to find a better club than Juventus. Maybe, if he believes that his series of successes here is over, he might leave. However, I don’t think that’s the case”.
Dybala? “It was a risky decision when we bought him, even though he knew he was a talent. Leaving Palermo for Juve is a difficult step, but the boy handled it very well. Now he’s performing at his best and I think he can still improve a lot. He’s one of the best players in the world, but we are in a position to resist any offer that comes for him”.
Pogba? “When you’re young, it’s easy to have up and downs in your performance. The fact that he makes mistakes means that he takes the responsibility to try difficult skills. He’s a valuable asset for us”.
Conte and a potential comeback? “He’s achieved a lot for Juve. He stayed here for three year, he won a lot and set many records. Maybe, at the end of that winning era he was looking for new incentives. We’ve been keeping good relationships since he left. In football, you can never say never, but we’e happy with Allegri and I think we’ll stick with him”.
Cavani? “We’re full of young and talented players. Cavani has an interesting profile, but he earns too much. He’s not a target right now”.
