Russia’s coach Fabio Capello talked about the scudetto race and about Seedorf’s prospective future as Milan’s coach.
“I don’t see any particular problems for Juventus in conquering the scudetto this year despite Roma’s excellent start. The only wild variable may be Juve’s participation in the Europa League, which may distract the bianconeri“.
The former Roma and Juventus coach then turned to the rossoneri‘s delicate moment: “Seedorf has what it takes, however, to take on Milan as a first assignment is a different matter. I was a debutant in 1991, but only in part: I started after a 5 year stint in Milan’s youth system, but most importantly I had an internship of sorts under Liedholm before inheriting Sacchi’s team”.
As reported yesterday, Capello inked a two-year contract extension in virtue of which he will lead Russia to the 2018 World Cup.
