Having won promotion to Serie A for the first time in the clubs history, Carpi’s immediate thoughts have turned to what stadium they will use for there maiden campaign.
With the Biancorossi’s current home, the Stadio Cabassi, not up to Serie A standards the clubs hierarchy have turned there minds to securing a new home for the 2015/2016 season. The most obvious choice for Carpi is to use the facilities of near by Modena’s Stadio Braglia.
According to Tuttomercatoweb discussions have already taken place between the two clubs in an attempt to trash out a deal. Along with representatives of both clubs sitting down to talk, it is also been reported that the Mayors of the two cities have got together to discuss the matter.
The proposed agreement would see Carpi take up residence at the 21,151 capacity stadium for a two year period.
If the deal does not go through for some reason other possibilities have included the extension of the clubs own ground or the possible use of Parma’s Stadio Tardini.
