The rumours about Antonio Cassano returning to Sampdoria are mounting day after day. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Cassano has never settled completely at Parma, differently from Genova, where he had the best years of his career and where his wife is based.
Fantagazzetta reports that the idea was born after a casual meeting between Edoardo Garrone and Cassano, where the two remembered the good times when he was at Sampdoria. But the talent that hails from Bari is tied now with Parma with a heavy two-year contract.
Sampdoria have proposed a swap with Pozzi, but Parma prefer to cash in on Cassano. But the will of the Blucerchiati and of the fantasista is strong and this can be enough to make the deal happen. Moreover, for Parma it would be self-destructive to have a grumpy Cassano on the roster.
