Riccardo Orsolini has found little space at Atalanta this season and could be on the move in January.
The Juventus owned attacker burst onto the scene last summer when he won the Golden Boot at the U-20 World Cup in South Korea. The Bianconeri had acquired him from Ascoli earlier in the spring and had sent him on loan to La Dea for the 2017/18 season.
However, Orsolini has only played a total of 105 minutes this campaign and Juve want to move him, however Antonio Conte and the Chelsea scouting apparatus have taken notice as well.
In Italy, Hellas Verona, Sassuolo and Bologna are all competing to take him off Atalanta’s hands, according to TMW. The original agreement between Atalanta and Juventus was a two-year loan but the option to opt was of the loan was included. It’s more likely at this point Orsolini leaves Bergamo much sooner than two years.
Juventus wanted Orsolini to receive more playing time but head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has had other ideas.
At this point, it is far more likely Orsolini moves to a different midtable side in Italy than to make the move to London, but just like in the summer, Antonio Conte’s side is watching.
