Marco Verratti has attracted interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs but it is now unlikely that he will leave the club.
At the moment, it’s been reported that Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter and Bayern are all interested in Marco Verratti. However, his agent claims that his future is indeed with French giants Paris Saint-Germain. Recently, the Italian international has spoken about his future and has given some hope to potential suitors. Just this week it was reported that Inter, fresh off their influx of cash, were ready to submit a bid of 78 million euros in the summer for Verratti.
Manchester United and Chelsea are right there with the nerazzurri while Bayern Munich are said to be waiting in the wings. The player’s agent, Donato Di Campli, spoke about this to Sky Italia:
“Bayern never called me. If they did, I would have told them to contact PSG. It will be difficult for a team to take him away from PSG. His contract expires only in 2021 and he wants to respect it. Marco wants to win and if possible, in Paris.
Verratti’s current salary with the French outfit is around €7.5M per year, which could prove to be another obstacle for potential suitors.
