For weeks now it has been reported by Fernando Llorente is set to begin a new adventure in the English Premier League under the orders of a familiar face in Antonio Conte.
However, recent rumors suggest that Michy Batshuayi is set to stay put at Chelsea.
Local newspaper South Wales Evening Post, had previously indicated that 23-year-old Belgian international Michy Batshuayi would join Swansea on a dry loan as an obvious way of facilitating Llorente’s transfer to Chelsea.
Although Llorente’s move to Conte’s team is likelier by the day, reports from The Sun now indicate that Batshuayi will remain at Stamford Bridge, even at the expense of his playing time.
Batshuayi has been very open in expressing his desire to fight for his chances at The Bridge. Although his contribution has been minimum, the former Marseille striker has publicly declared he finds himself well at Chelsea and under Antonio Conte’s guidance.
With an already deep attacking core and an incoming Fernando Llorente, Antonio Conte is set to count on a lot of options as the blues’ fight for the title carries on.
