Chelsea FC’s Juan Cuadrado thrived in Turin with Juventus last year, and is said to desire a stay in Italy. With Vincenzo Montella at the helm, Milan look to reunite the two from their Fiorentina days.
For weeks, Juan Cuadrado was mentioned in transfer talks surrounding A.C. Milan though few ever thought it was a possibility as the mercato was frozen. After Fininvest and Milan released statements regarding the sale of the club by president Silvio Berlusconi to Chinese investors, the Colombian is now back on the radar.
According to Fabrizio Romano, still active CEO Adriano Galliani had resumed talks with Cuadrado’s representatives over a possible move earlier today. His agent, Alessandro Lucci, will evaluate the situation with Chelsea who have a €30m tag on him which the Rossoneri hope to decrease.
Under Vincenzo Montella, Cuadrado spent a few successful seasons at Fiorentina and his performances earned him the lucrative 32 million euro transfer to the English club in February 2015. Now, according to SportItalia, the ex-Viola star wishes to return to playing under Montella and the Rossoneri are expected to submit an offer within seven days.
