Chievo have been heavily inquiring about Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli recently and are set to step up their pursuit for the striker.
According to Gazzamercato, Chievo will make another assault for Mario Balotelli. Recently, they have come out and said that Super Mario is too expensive for them. However, they have since changed their mind and will continue negotiating with the English giants under certain conditions. For the move to go through, Liverpool will have to pay a portion of the player’s current wages as they are simply too high for a club like Chievo. Moreover, Chievo have proposed a one-year dry loan, which wouldn’t cost them a thing.
In the past, Liverpool were opposed to this formula but seeing that there are only two and a half weeks left to the window, the Reds want to offload the Italian striker immediately. Sassuolo were also interested in the player but are yet to make a formal offer for him.
