Antonio Conte dreams of implementing his 4-2-4 formation at Juventus one day.
At the Viareggio and Sport ceremony, where Juventus’ coach received the “Viareggio Sport Gherardo Gioè” award, he stated “I’m a tailor, and I do what I can with the cloth that I have available”. It’s no secret that Juventus’ roster lacks the attacking wingers that would make a 4-2-4 formation implementable.
At the ceremony, Conte noted that it was an honour to be bestowed such a prestigious acknowledgement in Viareggio, from which his most influential coaches – Marcello Lippi and Eugenio Fascetti – hail from.
Conte dedicated the award to his family, from whom he’s forced to spend so much time away, to Juventus and to his lads.
