With the Brazilian trequartista set to be sold for €70 million, Chelsea are back on the hunt for some major targets.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported this morning Antonio Conte is set to give Chelsea a “Champions League” overhaul. It’s a long time romance regarding Radja Nainggolan. The Italian tactician has wanted him for years due to his tenacious style of play, but that’s not all he wants from Roma.
There’s also Antonio Rudiger, the German defender who’s recovered nicely from a torn ACL he suffered at the end of last season.
But for Chelsea, that’s not all. There’s also two players from Monaco who’s caught his eye in the form of Tiemoué Bakayoko and Djibril Sibidé, who are both promising youth players.
Then there’s the grande finale in terms of luxury players. James Rodriguez wants to leave Real Madrid, and with Oscar heading out, it’s presumable that a large portion of the proceeds from the sale will go towards trying to lure in James. He’s found little space under Zinedine Zidane’s reign and has spoken publicly about his desire to play week in and week out.
With Chelsea at the top of the table, chairman Roman Ambrovich could splash the cash to finance a transfer window of dreams for the Italian tactician.
