Sassuolo playmaker Domenico Berardi (who is co-owned with Juventus) is being scouted by Wolfsburg, while Schalke 04 has kept a close eye on Nicola Sansone. Scouts of both German clubs were present at Mapei Stadium at the match against Parma.
According to Nicolo Schira of Gazzetta Dello Sport, it did not go unnoticed the presence of German scouts who are keeping tabs on two Sassuolo prospects, Berardi and Sansone, respectively.
Berardi was courted during the January transfer window, but at the same was deemed not for sale by the neroverdi management. Juventus and Sassuolo must settle the co-ownership of the player in the summer. If no agreement is in place, Wolfsburg can step in with an offfer around 15M euros which will be split 50-50 between the two Italian clubs.
Sansone, who hails from the Bayern Munich youth sector, has never hidden his fascination of returning to the Bundesliga one day. It is expected that the club coached by Roberto Di Matteo will make a push for his services in June.
