Napoli supremo Aurelio De Laurentiis is very interested in bringing Erik Lamela back to Italy.
According to Il Mattino the Argentine winger has had enough of being surplus to requirements and wants to leave Tottenham in the summer. Last year, Lamela was purchased from Roma for a very large sum of money, something that will make the potential transfer a bit tricky.
Erik Lamela has been studied by De Laurentiis and is described as one of his “pupils”, it is yet to be seen how he will be able to trigger Tottenham’s interest in selling one of their biggest investments.
Lamela has made 19 appearances in all competitions scoring only a lone goal in the Europa league against Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol.
