With Serie A conquered, Palermo are now looking to the summer mercato to fortify their squad. Their objective is to not repeat the same errors from last year that cost them a relegation trip to Serie B.
The Rosanero are looking at one of their rival’s players, Catania’s Francesco Lodi. Who in the last hours according to Gianluca Di Marzio has been contacted by Palermo to see if the midfielder wants to stay in Sicily and Serie A.
However, for now Lodi has the intention of wanting to stay in with Catania even in Serie B. Palermo is not giving up and the number 10 remains in their sights.
The Catania playmaker recently was shipped to Genoa before returning to the ailing Sicilian side in January.
