Napoli and Hellas Verona have agreed on a deal to send Italo-Brazilian starlet Jorginho to the Azzurri.
After a few days of negotiations between both parties, it was confirmed that the clubs had hammered out a deal. As previously reported, Napoli’s Sporting Director Bigon and Hellas’ Sporting Director Sogliano had been meeting in Milan numerous times this week.
The Hellas Verona center midfielder has been a rock for the surging Gialloblu this season and they are now ready to cash in on Napoli’s advances.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, he will undergo the medical examination tomorrow before penning a contract with the Partenopei. On Thursday Di Marzio reported the deal would be reached on the basis Napoli paying 5 million euro for Jorginho with an option to buy the other half for an additional 5 million. In addition to Jorginho, Napoli is also looking to acquire one out of Tottenham’s Capoue and Rubin Kazan’s M’Vila. They also appear very close to signing Brazilian wing Michael Bastos.
