Out of form and out of the picture at Filippo Inzaghi’s AC Milan, Stephan El Shaarawy could look for a loan elsewhere to get additional playing time.
Genoa have emerged as the favorite to sign out of form AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy on loan, with Chievo Verona sitting as a less attractive potential destination.
After missing nearly all of last season with an injury, El Shaarawy has struggled to regain his best form, and a loan move where he could gain extended amounts of playing time would benefit both player and club.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Italian international prefers a move to Genoa if he has to make one.
After a 2012-2013 season in which he scored 16 goals in 31 starts for AC Milan, the 22-year old has made only 12 league starts the Rossoneri, missing all but 6 games last season due to injury.
