Leonardo Pavoletti’s stock continues to rise around Italy however the Genoa President confirms his star striker will not move away from the Ligurian club in January.
Following a thumping 3-0 win over Milan inside an energetic Luigi Ferraris Stadium, Genoa President Enrico Preziosi took to the microphone of Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli to discuss his club’s wonderful performance:
I am very happy to have chosen Juric as manager. Credit deserves to be given to him and the team. We are happy to have built such a great squad. We are a tough side, that plays a modern and aggressive brand of football. Against Napoli, we were close to securing a win if it wasn’t for Pepe Reina.
He continued the interview by speaking about tge transfer rumors surrounding Leonardo Pavoletti and if there will be plans to sell him in the January window:
Maybe if an offer arrives between June and July, perhaps we could think about selling. An offer arriving on the final day of the mercato was impossible to accept, both for us and for the player. Nothing will change in January, he is an important player for us.
