Everton seem to have pinpointed their goalkeeper for the future and may have found him in Italy.
According to La Gazetta dello Sport, British publication Daily Mail are reporting that the Toffees have confirmed their interest in young Verona goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini. Everton are on the search for a new shot-stopper who will replace the recently-departed Tim Horward, for the foreseeable future and they believe the 21-year old Italian fits the role.
If a transfer were to happen, it would mark a return to England for Gollini as he signed with Verona via free transfer from Manchester United in 2014. He played in 26 games this season, taking over a starting role in the second half of the season and collected two clean sheets.
