Genoa will announce the signing of Palermo midfielder Luca Rigoni once the transfer window opens shortly.

Following up on a report from Alfredo Pedulla last week, Palermo and Genoa have agreed on a transfer and fee for outcasted midfield, Luca Rigoni. According to La Gazetta dello Sport, Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has managed to convince Maurizio Zamparini to allow Rigoni to join Genoa, despite interest from Serie B side Cagliari.

Rigoni will begin his new adventure with the Ligurian club by signing a two and a half-year contract. Genoa have agreed on a transfer fee of €500K to be paid to Palermo.
