Fiorentina’s president Andrea Della Valle spoke on the club’s summer transfer plans.

Speaking to Firenzeviola.it, a site dedicated to Fiorentina news, Della Valle spoke on the summer and the upcoming season.

“We have a staff to complete but we start [building] from a good base. We’ve signed young players who have great prospects, you’ll hear them spoken about in the next few years. Our objectives are always these, football in Italy is changing, some clubs have great financial power but we have our dreams and the sacrifices from the Della Valle family.

“I’m really hopeful because we can continue to dream. An update on Rossi? Giuseppe has entered into the story of this city, now he’s back in a way that speaks for itself. I’m optimistic for him.

“Toledo? He’s a signing, not a gamble: Sousa wanted him very badly and so did the directors. He’ll arrive tomorrow. He’s from Santa Fe, an area that Fiorentina knows very well. Tello? We’re working very hard on him.”

Fiorentina finished 5th last season and qualified to the Europa League.
