Fiorentina are ramping up their mercato with 10 days left in the transfer window.
The first deal, Mauro Zarate is virtually a done deal per multiple sources. The Argentine is arriving in Florence before the last few details are hammered out. West Ham will receive €1.3 million and Fiorentina will put on the €750,000 left of Zarate’s contract on the books.
In addition, Zarate’s contract will be extended from expiring in 2017 to 2018.
The second signing, will cost the Viola around €2.3 not including bonus. Cristian Tello will not undergo the medical visit in Italy today but will undergo it in Portugal, possibly because of the details still being worked out between Porto and Barcelona.
Tello’s arrival in Italy was scheduled to be today, however it will be delayed for 2014 hours.
