Fiorentina Manager Stefano Pioli believes that “the next three weeks will be decisive” for Fiorentina.
La Viola are sitting in ninth in Serie A, but a seventh placed finish will be enough for a Europa League place if Milan finish in the top six.
Pioli spoke in a Press conference today ahead of his team’s game against Crotone tomorrow.
“The next three weeks will be decisive, in the last games there will be motivation and ambition for the table, but these three games will determine everything.
“We have a balanced fixture list, it’s not easy but it’s also not impossible. Crotone and Spal, who are both playing for their survival, are not easy opponents.
“I really believe in my team and the work we’ve done since July 4. Europewas something unexpected at the beginning, but we have to take it one game at a time.
“We can’t do anything else, so tomorrow is the most important game”.
Pioli met Fiorentina legend and one of the greatest player’s of all time, Gabriel Batistuta earlier this week.
“It was a pleasure to meet him again after a long time. I found him in great form, he was as sharp and nice as I remembered.
“It was also nice for the team to see him, and I invited him to come back more often. He can make them understand even more what the Fiorentina shirt means”.
