Fiorentina manager Paulo Sousa admitted he is concerned about the lack of wins of late, following a 2-0 loss to Empoli.
“We face a good team that was healthy. It was not easy today. I don’t believe we lost due to a physical let down, our lads ran and created chances. We are not that far behind what we accomplished in the past, we just need to get a win to bring us some serenity. We must continue to demonstrate our identity, and also try to get better. We must never give up.”
“I am concerned about the lack of results, we are unable to score even when we are dominating. I do not like being a dictator and force my team into a training camp. As for my future, I am the coach of Fiorentina, I have a contract and will coach this team next year. We must continue working hard and fight to get third place to keep our spirits high.”
