The talk of a new golden age in Italian football may be a tad premature, but the young talent players emerging at Milan and Atalanta gives encouragement for future for the Azzurri.

However outside of this talented generation lies another batch of players who while slightly older (in the 21 to 24 age bracket) are still more than young enough to offer a lot to the Italian game. Here is a pick of five players who while maybe not the next Roberto Baggio or Gigi Buffon, are most certainly capable of making a name for themselves at the top level.
