- Daniel Bessa:
The oldest player on this list at 24, albeit only since the 14th January. Recently signed permanently by Hellas Verona from Inter, the youngster is no stranger to transfer moves having previously had spells on loan at Vicenza, Olhanense, Sparta, Bologna and Como.
More often than not deployed in the centre of the park, Bessa has scored five times and laid on two assists in 22 matches this season for the Gialloblu as he aims to help them back into Serie A. A cruciate knee injury back in 2011 hampered his development it must be said, but that has been put behind him and he is slowly turning into the player he had the potential to be. If you don’t believe me why not take the word of Bein sports commentator Matteo Bonetti who recently on Twitter described Bessa as reminding him of Real Madrid’s Isco.
While not exactly on that level, Bessa is a talented footballer who should be playing in Serie A next season be that with Verona or not. At 24 many may think that he will be now never amount to much more than where he is, but then people tend to forget the likes of Cristiano Lucarelli and Stefano Floccari who emerge quite late in the day to have rather decent careers.
