Foschi On Stephan El Shaarawy

TuttoSport has interviewed Rino Foschi, the former manager of Padova, who had a chance to manage Milan winger Stephan El Shaarawy. The Italian winger played for Padova in 2010 in Serie B. Foschi began speaking of his history with the winger: “He came on loan from Genoa, and played a good season. He didn’t play for a month and a half because of injury, but he proved that he had talent. Then, Milan began to show interest in him. He showed a lot of professionalism, I can’t explain it too well though. He was a “young old man”, in the way that he was very mature and had a great personality. He was always available to the manager, he always wanted to win. He played as a goalscorer, second forward, or even as a attacking midfielder. He also adapted well to the role of a winger. It’s not a coincidence that a player of his caliber ended up at Milan. He is a tireless young, serious, hard working player. In Milan’s shirt, he’s shown he has physical capability, quality on the ball, acceleration and good vision. In all, he’s a fantastic talent.”
