Today may be the day that will tell what Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini’s future will look like.
English Premier League side, Southampton has submitted its most recent offer for Gabbiadini this morning, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The Saints offered Napoli 16 million euros plus 4 million euros in bonuses. The offer also includes that Napoli will receive a percentage of a future resale of the player.
The latest offer seems similar to the last offer, but the terms of the bonuses have been cleared up. Di Marzio reports that the bonuses may have been increased, or made more easily accessible.
Gabbiadini would have to fly to England in order to complete his medicals if the deal is done. The forward may have to fly tonight or on Monday in order for the deal to be completed before the transfer deadline.
The Italian has struggled this season with Napoli for the most part. However, Gabbiadini ended 2016 with a goal and has scored two goals to start 2017.
May Gabbiadini be bringing his goal-scoring potential to England? Southampton wants to close the deal for the player. Gabbiadini’s future may be decided by the end of the day.
