GENOVA – The Nerazzurri took Sampdoria to the cleaners as Inter won 5-0 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini insisted his side need to continue playing this way for the remained of the season to qualify for the Champions League.

“We played a great game today and we’re happy with the result,” Gagliardini told the Inter Channel. “By playing this way, we can get a lot of points and we must always be like this. We already put in a good performance against Napoli. Today, we were even more precise and solid, we wanted the three points.

“We need to show our quality on the pitch every time that we play, on too many occasions we’ve not been consistent. We want to qualify for the Champions League and we’ll do everything to reach our goal, we need to continue in this way and look to win every game that is left this season.

“Rafinha? He’s always done well, he has great quality. Icardi? Mauro always does what he has to. At 25, his numbers are impressive. Now, I’m happy that I can go and play with the National Team.”
