Adriano Galliani will not participate in the new AC Milan after the Chinese takeover.
Speaking to Milan TV, the long-time director hinted that the end is near on his illustrious career. He tried to step aside almost three years ago to the date after falling out with Berlusconi over the crisis Milan was facing at the time, but the President of the club refused to let him go.
“Will I stay? It feels like I won’t, and therefore I believe that these are my last three weeks at Milan. Not out of arrogance, but because I’ve been the CEO my entire career, I wouldn’t know what to do in another role. What can I do? I’d say these are my last weeks at Milan where I’ve spent 30 plus years. We’ll move from the news of today, to history. And maybe it’ll be better to be a part of that.”
