Inter could find another defender joining their ranks before the mercato ends in the name of Ezequiel Garay.
According to Tuttosport, Zenit St. Petersburg defender Ezequiel Garay has given Inter the sign of approval to move from Russia.
The Argentine welcomes Italian football and has been in talks over a move to the Nerazzurri in the past. Manager Frank de Boer and the higher-ups at the club are waiting on Zenit’s response to the deal which would likely come in the form of a loan with obligation.
The 29-year-old centre-back has spent time with Benfica and Real Madrid during his career, and wants to add Serie A football to his resume as well.
