The agent for Giuseppe Rossi, Andrea Pastorello, made a point on the situation of his client to Radio Blue this evening.
“We don’t have any meetings because it would be useless to meet if there was nothing to say. I don’t know when we’ll resolve the situation.”
Rossi has been out of regular action for much of the year under head coach Paulo Sousa, and with players such as Illicic and Kalinic stepping up in an overwhelming way, it seems impossible that a Fiorentina stay is on the cards for the Italy international.
“There have been many teams who have been in some way interested, some Italian and some foreign before Christmas but now there is nothing concrete and we are in Standby.”
“It would be enough to find a right fit, but the problem is finding one. Personally I’ve never said that Giuseppe will leave (Fiorentina). The player will leave on if all the parties are convinced. If nothing happens in the developments then we will happy stay in Florence and the player would fight to take his place in the team.”
