Despite ongoing interest from Genoa for Juventus midfielder, Hernanes, the player seems set to remain in Turin past the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old, who has been capped by Brazil 27 times, was linked to Genoa throughout the summer mercato and, once again, this month after Tomas Rincon moved from the rossoblu to Juventus.
However, despite this concrete interest and the supposed willingness of Juventus to let the veteran midfielder move on, Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that the player has turned down the transfer.
While the intentions of Hernanes behind this rejection remain unclear, the player is finding limited playing time with the Italian champions and Juventus seem very willing.
It will be interesting to see if the player agrees to a transfer before the transfer deadline, or if he will try to fight for his place at Juventus.
