The Guinean at Palermo could be on the market in January.
Carlos Embalo’s agent, Giuseppe Accardi spoke to Italian Football Daily on Tuesday morning to discuss his client’s situation at Palermo.
“Last year while he was on loan at Brescia, several clubs like Atletico Madrid, Anderlecht, and some from Germany called me asking how he was doing.”
“Of course, soon after he had a problem with his leg but he’s fully recovered now.”
Embalo signed with Palermo from CD Chaves, a Portuguese club in January 2013 and has since bounced around on loan to Lecce, Carpi and Brescia. This season, he’s remained on Palermo’s roster but has only made six appearances thus far.
“We’re looking for the best possible solution to the situation,” his agent stated.
Carlos Embalo possesses impressive qualities as an attacker, but Palermo’s situation being near the basement of the Serie A table hasn’t made it easy for him to showcase his qualities.
Nonetheless, Embalo could leave either now in January or in July. There are suitors outside of Italy who are interested in him.
