Italian agent Silvio Pagliari spoke exclusively to the Italian Football Daily today regarding Manolo Gabbiadini’s future as well as how Giulio Donati has settled in Germany.
Where will Manolo Gabbiadini play next year? Will his co-ownership be renewed?
“At the moment, it’s too early to talk about it, these are the first days of April and there’s still a lot of time. However, it belongs to the two clubs (Juventus and Sampdoria) to decide on the co-ownership. I will meet with Juventus shortly to find a solution (on their end)”.
Are there clubs from outside of Italy that are interested in Manolo? If yes, who?
“It’s normal that a strong player like him will interest the important clubs. Italian and foreign. We’ll see”.
For somebody who doesn’t know anything about Manolo, what is the best way to describe his style of play?
“Manolo is a striker who at this moment is adapting well to play on the wings”.
Shifting attention to one of Inter’s sales of last summer, I asked about how Giulio Donati has fared at his new club in Germany.
How has Giulio Donati adapted to life in the Bundesliga?
“Very well! He’s having a great season. It’s turned out to be a wonderful experience for him, from all points of view. He’s been appreciated with the jersey of a great club like Bayer Leverkusen, in both the league and the Champions League”.
Are there any Italian teams that are interested in bringing him back to Serie A?
“After this great year, it’s normal that he will have a positive effect on the market” But he will stay in the Bundesliga”.
Lastly, I quizzed him on Giuseppe Bellusci who plays for the Sicilian side Catania, who currently sit in last place in Serie A.
What is the future of Giuseppe Bellusci if Catania get relegated? Will he stay in Serie A? Or follow the Sicilians down to Serie B?
At this time, Bellusci is thinking only and exclusively towards Catania avoiding relegation. Nothing else. At the end of the season we’ll see what happens. It’s too early to foresee his future”.
